My Favorite Band

I know it is very strange, but I don’t listen to a lot of music. All the people use to listen to music all the time, but I don’t. In my house my parents never listened to a lot of music, so I don’t have the habit to listen to music. At home only my brother used to listen to music, but if he is not at home, all the house is very quiet. I turn on the TV, to hear noise and don’t feel that I am alone, but I don’t really watch the TV. I don’t know why, but the music distracts me a lot. For example it is impossible for me to listen to music when I am studying, so, those days that I listen to music are when I really want to listen to it.

But don’t think that I don’t like it. I like music, and also I have a favourite group. Pearl Jam. I love Eddie Vedder’s voice. There is a movie call “Into the Wild”, it’s so nice, the landscapes and colours are so beautiful, and the music too. All the music is of Eddie. He grew older and you can notice that the tone of his voice is deeper and calmer than when he was younger.

A day to remember

My fist university day was remarkable, I am never going to forget that day. I was very scared. The night before that I couldn’t sleep.  i was very inexperienced about taking buses and also and had a lot of problems to travel because I didn’t have any idea about where I was! I still have that problem! So I didn’t know very well how to come… I got lost. But I had a lot of time to come; I knew what was going to happen to me. When I arrived to my class everybody was sitting on the floor looking each other secretly.  All the classmates were so different! It was so funny! Tattoos, cloth, hair, languages, religions, places, ideas… but all of us were here.  All the people in the class could notice that, but we got to meet each other, and we discovered that all of us were lovely people. All that year we had lunch all together, every day. Now we are in different classes, so we can’t be all day together, but we still remember those days with lot affection. That day was so important to me because it represents the first day of a different life to me!

Career

Hi blogger, today I am going to tell you about my career…

The way I decided to study this, was very special, in other words, strange and unexpected. I didn’t study for the PSU, because I wasn’t sure about what was the career I wanted to study, but I do the test and the result wasn’t too bad. What do I do now? My mother said to me … ok, don’t think in money, and think only in the things you enjoy most. So, Art was the career that includes more of those things.

I think I had a different concept of art that the one I have now, but I’m very happy about that. I think this career has been a life experience.

I think I am very lucky, because I’m a very insecure person but I´ve I have developed a way to know when is time to stop controlling the situations. When it’s the moment you should let things flow. Sometimes, life puts you in the correct place, just in the right moment, and the only thing you have to do, is to let things happen. If you take this way, your mind gets opens up to new experiences that you never have imagined.

Today I’m going to talk about my blog experience this semester.

I didn't really know about blogs and how to use them before I started this blog. This was a new experience for me. I learn to use it, and it wasn't very hard to me to learn.  But I don’t use computers very much, so the most difficult part for me was to make the time and the habit to sit in front the computer and do the homework. I am working very hard for my classes, so I don’t have a lot of time. I’m doing different kind of things all day. So, I feel it like an obligation for me, and I hate to feel like this.

Doing things you don’t want to do. I don’t like this way, I would really like to learn because I want, and not because I must. I think the blogs are a good tool, but it’s not the best for me. 

I think this class helps me to remember English I learn at school, because I don’t talk, write or read a lot in English very often, and if you don’t practice this language it’s very easy to forget it. But I think the better way to learn is to be in places where they talk in the language you want to learn, because you have to express yourself, and people it’s very kind if you want to learn.

Computer & Internet

I never had used very much the computers. Even when I was a child, I preferred to play outside making up stories and games with my cousins or alone. I didn’t need it.

Now, that I am older and I don’t really like the computers, because is so difficult to me to understand and learn how to use new programs.

Internet it’s something different, I learn to use it and now is so necessary for me. I use internet very much, particularly when I am studying a new subjects or looking for information. Also I have a mail and facebook account that I use to be on touch with friends and to have information about the University too.

The website that I use frequently is google, because is the most complete searcher that I know.

I don’t really have a favorite internet website because it depends of the work I’m doing, is the website that I use. Not to long ago, I was doing a work for my sculpture class, and I found a very funny site, it calls www.sesienterubio.com, if you have a time take a look! 

Intelligence

Today I’m going to talk about intelligence. 

I think the intelligence is the capacity to understand and appreciate what is around us, it’s the capacity to resolve different kinds of problems that could have been in front of us.

Nobody born intelligent, it’s the accumulation of contents you learn a long your life. It’s necessary the experience, and the socializing because we can’t be alone, and we must create relationships, that way we can learn from each other. I think it is very important to be in contact with people from everywhere: from different ways of thinking, different religious, races, culture, social class, or political position.

The intelligence can be constructed. That’s why the education it’s very important. Through the education, and to be expose to the world you can develop your intelligence. For example a lot of people had told me that I have the natural manual ability, but I think that is a capacity that I had developed, because I saw people doing hand works all my life and they incentive and stimulate me . I’m not agree about catalogue a person with different kinds of intelligence because I think everybody can learn about any kind of subject.
